Code of Ethics

UTAM’s Code of Ethics, administered by our Chief Compliance Officer, sets out clear standards of professional behaviour and guides how we manage actual, potential and perceived personal conflicts of interest. All employees are subject to the Code of Ethics.

Personal conflicts of interest, in the context of investment management, relate, for example, to our personal securities trading activities, acceptance of offered gifts and entertainment, and the protection of information confidential to UTAM and its investment managers and service providers. The Code of Ethics offers clear guidance about what is expected of us in these matters, ensuring that we put the interests of our client before our own, and also addresses legal concerns regarding the treatment of material non-public information if we believe that we have been exposed to any.

All of us at UTAM are responsible for Code of Ethics compliance, but the Chief Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that we know our obligations and for achieving compliance.
